Hello! My name is Eric Lautanen. This site is about me and my travels around the world. I spend most of my time hitchhiking to places around North America. For work I pick up odd jobs as I can and also do php, javascript, and mysql site projects. I have a life long dream of someday being able to sail around the world.   I’m trying to accomplish this dream by continuing to grow my internet businesses and travel as cheaply as possible.

Now at 2 years into my travels I still have a long way to go to accomplish my long term goal. But I do continue to hitchhike and live life on the road. I can’t in good conscious work a regular job to accomplish this goal. I’m a single male with nothing in the world to care for except my traveling dog(Manny). There are plenty of people in this country that could help their families by having a job that I may take. So with that said I have no problems finding national forests, fields, and other sneaky places to sleep as I travel. I really do enjoy the freedom of traveling this way. In my travels I have met many great people and hope to continue meeting people all over the place for the upcoming years. I hope you enjoy my blog!
