I`ve now been crashing on the beach here in Acapulco for about a week. There has been lots of harassment by the police but nothing to bad. Last night was the first night I had something stolen here in Acapulco. I had Manny off of his leash for the night so he could move around. Someone snuck in late and stole his leash. I had my hiking boots with me though, so I just made a quick attachment with the laces from them. A lot of locals have been pretty cool. During the day I hang out in the same spot and just sleep most of the day while waiting for this money to get here. Tomorrow I will be going to the U.S. Consulate again and try to get my passport paper work rolling. I hope I can get that done and available withing a week or so. Tonight I`m going to check on a job at a club. They asked me if I would be interested in doing promoting for the club while I`m here. Not much going on other than that. I just sit and wait patiently.
