Just a quick video as it will be one of my lasts. I will be leaving Mexico shortly and will be selling off all my stuff to buy warm weather gear once I cross the border. I’ll post a couple more vids this weekend before I take off as a lasting centament of my time spent here in Acapulco. I’d like to thank all of those that have followed my journey over the last year and half! I more than likely won’t be publishing much on the next set of my journey as operating costs for my websites has overtaken the amount of advertising and donations that I receive. I will be returning to the United States to look for work and to prepare for my next journey which should be next summer. I have become very lazy in my travels and feel the need to do a regular job for a few months to regain my momentum. Once again thank you all very much and thank all that I have met and that have given me rides! I look forward to bringing more stories to you in the next chapter of my life. peace

So we hung out in Nogales on the US side for a day working up some extra cash for the trip. One thing we grossly underestimated was the cost of gas down here. We had no problems crossing the border and the first few checkpoints without passports. We took highway 15 south towards Los Mochis, when about 25 miles north of Los Mochis we hit a Federal checkpoint. They told us without a travel permit to return to Nogales and obtain one or pay $3,000 pesos about $250 USD to continue. We had already ran out of gas money so we took a route through AgioBampo on a beach road where we got stuck in mud many times taking a day and a half to go about 15 miles around the Federal checkpoint. Come to find out, the guy that works at that checkpoint takes an hour off each day between 6am and 7am. So if your coming this way with no passport wait till 6am to go through the Fed check point north of Los Mochis. By the way, the reason we came with no passports is because it takes so long to get them in the states. Once we arrive in Oaxaca we can goto the Consulate and get one in a week! So we are now clear of all the checkpoints and have been camping out on the beach in southern Mazatlan. We plan on staying here a few days to spange/panhandle enough money to get to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. At the moment its costing about $500($40 USD) pesos per tank of gas, and we need about 4 or 5 more to get to our final destination. I’ll be uploading some pictures and such when we get to Oaxaca. We’ll be selling the truck there and getting a 3 bedroom apartment. My unemployment kicks in next week so I’ll have plenty of cash to fund getting a online store setup to sell local crafts on the net. Wish us luck and will chat with you all soon. ooohh yeah I have a skype voice mail at 504,322,3559.

I left Priest Lake on Saturday morning the 1st of August. Work had really slowed down there and after a 2 week trip to New Mexico for the national rainbow gathering I became sad and lonely for the road. I hitched out of Spokane to meet up with a friend from the road near Seattle Washington. We spent a few days there working for a contractor for some extra cash. After leaving Seattle my we drove in my buds truck down to Portland Oregon to pick up his girlfriend. Had a break down there that cost about $700 to fix the clutch and tranny. Soon as that was fixed we headed down to Reno NV where my friend got arrested for driving without a license. The state of Nevada has very heft fines for this. His girlfriend and I spent a couple days in Lake Tahoe to get the $1,835 required to get him out of jail and then continued down the road. On the way out of Reno my laptop finally shit the bed after a lot of abuse! So I’m currently sitting at a library in Flagstaff Arizona. I’ll be purchasing a new laptop here as soon as I can. I miss writing in this blog so its going to be fun to show you and talk about all the things I’ll be seeing and doing in the next few years. Take care all and its good to be back!!!

Once a year a bunch of locals get together at the Nordman Bar for a feast of wild game. Just about anything including Moose, Elk, Deer, Bear, Birds, Wild Pig. It was a great buffet of meat! For only $7, it was an all you can eat setup. With proceeds from the meal and auction going to the local area for clearing trails and burning brush where needed. One of the most interesting dishes was the “Moose and Elk Penis Meat Loaf”. I’m proud to admit it was the first time that I’ve ever had a penis in my mouth. But embarrassed to how good it tasted. I guess my mouth has homosexual tendencies when it comes to Moose and Elk penis. But I imagine Moose and Elk testicles probably are not as appealing. Tonight I’ll be attending the Kaniksu Sands Christmas party at Elkins Resort here on Priest Lake. I’ll be attempting to broadcast live during this party. It begins around 5pm Pacific time. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
