I’m currently in a small area called Wilsonville, OR. Its about 10 miles or so south of Portland. I really need to find a place I can sit for a couple weeks to get my ID back so I can work. I’ve had plenty of work opportunities but with no ID they don’t trust me. So right not I’m waiting on some web replies to see what my next destination will be. I’ll either be heading north to Washington or south to California. If none of that pans out I’ll be heading back east to the mid west where people seem to more friendly. It seems that people are just tired of seeing people on the road in this area. In the time it takes to hitch 100 miles here I would be able to hitch 500 back east. As it goes I do have a great squat spot here. Its a nice wooded area and only about 5 minute walk from internet and power for charging the laptop. I wonder if Payless had the intention of a bumb plugging in outside their store when they put a power outlet out here. HA! I’ll spend one more night here then I’ll be hitting the ramp. Today I made $45 in about 30 minutes holding a sign that says “Traveling Looking For Work! Can You Help?” Hard to find any job that pays that well. hehe I still don’t like doing that but when it comes to eating ramen, rice and beans or eating Taco Bell… Well the choice is obvious!
