Just a quick video as it will be one of my lasts. I will be leaving Mexico shortly and will be selling off all my stuff to buy warm weather gear once I cross the border. I’ll post a couple more vids this weekend before I take off as a lasting centament of my time spent here in Acapulco. I’d like to thank all of those that have followed my journey over the last year and half! I more than likely won’t be publishing much on the next set of my journey as operating costs for my websites has overtaken the amount of advertising and donations that I receive. I will be returning to the United States to look for work and to prepare for my next journey which should be next summer. I have become very lazy in my travels and feel the need to do a regular job for a few months to regain my momentum. Once again thank you all very much and thank all that I have met and that have given me rides! I look forward to bringing more stories to you in the next chapter of my life. peace

So I’ve been here in Mexico for almost 2 months now. Man does time fly when your traveling like this. Weeks and months go by so fast. I spend my time on the computer listening to CNN international and all the news about the Swine Flu. To tell you the truth, with all the people that I’ve met here and meet while walking around. I have yet to hear of anyone getting real sick. They say its the season for the flu here but haven’t seen it yet. I hope I don’t! I’ll be spending most of the next few weeks indoors working on the computer anyway. I would like to know if you know of anyone that has Swine Flu. I invite you to leave a comment to get a “real life” number on who has it or not. Please include your location if you do. Thanks. Peace

For the past few days I’ve been spending my time getting some of my old php scripts that I wrote a couple years ago back up to par. Staying up and working all night is the way of a code junky slaving over blue, red, yellow and black text. There are lots of php building programs out there but I still to prefer to perform all my html/php/javascript writing to a simple text editor. I believe that typing all the code manually helps with troubleshooting and really knowing the code instead of having it all filled in for you. I use kwrite, the KDE version of Window’s notepad. Still running linux as much as possible because of its stability. I’ve also been spending time relearning WordPress blogging software. I’m going mainstream as much as I can on this round. All this and brushing up on my spanish everyday. My brain hurts from all the information this past month in Acapulcor. I plan on having my online store up and running very soon. I’m also debating on selling some of my dot com names to make some quick cash to pay for rent. We’ll see it may not be necessary.

Enough with the work related stuff. The past 2 weeks I’ve had a couple from Brazil staying at my place. They are traveling like me. Spending a few months everywhere they go. Both of them speak perfect english. So tonight we plan on going to the nightclub district. There is a club there called Paradise, that a guy I met works for. For about $20 its open bar from 10pm till 4am. We might head there and have some fun because they are heading north to Mazatlan and La Paz next week. There is so much to do and find here. Sometimes when I’m not sleeping till 3pm, I like to walk as many streets around here as I can. I find so many neat little places. Soon as I make some money online again I’ll purchase a new camera. My old one shit the bed awhile ago. Many times I wish I had a camera. Example would be marijuana. Man o man no wonder there are so many potheads here. Ooh and yes I do partake in tokes. For 50 pesos or about $4 you get 1/4 ounce of Acapulco gold. Granted they don’t trim weed as good as they do in the states. But either way its all good. Helps me sleep when its so damn hot.

One last thing before I go. If there is anyone that plans on making a trip to Acapulco any time soon let me know if you would like a hotel or other activities checked out for you. Have a great weekend all… Peace

I will be online 12+ hours a day for the next couple weeks getting everything done that I have on my list. I need to get another digital camera so I can take more pics.
