Last night I deided to just relax and watch a couple movies. I took Manny for a walk to the beach in the evening and on the way back grabbed some enchiladas to take back home. This enchilada stand is real cheap and great fresh food. For about $1.75 I got 5 chicken enchiladas in homemade tortillas, avacado, onion and tomatoe slices, lettuce, and salsa verde. Very filling actually. The place I get them from is pretty close to my apartment, only about a 5 minute walk or less. I’ve had a few items from there now and they all have been real good. I wanted to bring up how good this fresh food was because one of the movies I watched last night was the documentary Food Inc.. I watch documentaries of this sort with no judgement. I know just as easy that the directors bash the food industry, they themselves may be doing the film out of poor intentions. Either way this movie was very interesting and makes you think of the garbage we put in our stomachs every day. I’m sure I wouldn’t be the first one to tell you that they enjoy Mexico because of how good regular foods taste. Tomatoes vine rippened instead of chemically rippened, bananas the same thing. Best of all the ice cream made with real milk and real vanilla and other real products. Ooohhh man its hot and I had to go and talk about icecream there is a fresh iceream distributor 5 or 6 buildins down from me. I shall return! Peace
