What is true love?

Ok I’ve been up all night coding and finally finished a 300+ line parse array that I’ve been working on.  I’m a serious multitasker.  I chat, post, code, eat, smoke, drink, and all the unpleasant human things we do in the shitter.  But one thing for some reason popped into my head tonight.  What is true love?   This question is like many others that come to mind when dealing with human relations and society.  Its hard to define because everyone has their own view of what they love.  Well for most its simple, I think?  What do you use to define this?  How do you know?  I spend most of my days lying awake in bed thinking.(because I usually sleep during the day)  My mind racing with a thousand thoughts, my body tossing and turning with an endless restlessness.  Every once and and awhile I have a thought that sticks out more than others.  I dwell on it until I can’t sleep.  Well this is one of those thoughts.  Is this a question that can be answered by anyone?  I don’t think so.  A question like this, is entirely meant to be asked to ones self.

We all have certain desires, drives, expectations within ourselves.  Until we figure out what it is we are looking for, this question can not be answered by anyone.

One thing is blatently clear.  True love is family.  Those that have brought us into this world and have cared for us for many years.  But when it comes to true love in a life partner, are you sure?

Maybe this  is a thought of being lonley after what has become almost years on the road, or maybe its not.  I hope that I never know the answer to this question.  Because I feel that true love is wanting to know what it is.
